Your First Visit to Our Wellington Practice
Your first visit is a really important time. You will be able to discuss your health concerns and resons for consulting our office with your chiropractor. It's important that we have a full picture of youur overall health, so we ask that you allow up to an hour for this visit.
When you first arrive, you'll be welcomed by one of our friendly and highly trained Chiropractic Assistants. Most new patients have already downloaded and filled in our health profile questionnaire, if you haven't yet, then you'll do this now.
When you meet your chiropractor, they'll spend time getting to know you and your health and exploring what your goals and expectations are for care. Next up is an exam that includes assessing how you move, your muscle strength and balance and how your nerve system is functioning. We use Insight nerve scans which are the most up-to-date way of assessing your nervous system function. If your individual history and examination indicates that you require x-rays we are able to take these on-site. Sounds a lot. Yep- we know that the most important thing is to really understand you and how your body is working so that we can determine if chiropractic care can help you & then to make the recommendations that will give you the best results.
