What if there was a way to achieve boundless energy and feel vibrant & healthy? There is and I'm lucky enough to spend my days helping people with this 21st century challenge.
In my early teenage years, I had headaches. Not just headaches though – these were debilitating. I hated even walking as each time my foot touched the ground, my head throbbed, my vision was affected and I was missing lots of school. But my mother had always had headaches - I thought this was normal, part of becoming an adult. Chiropractic care changed my life.
Up until then I had wanted to be a medical doctor. That was the only type of doctor I even knew about. Suddenly, a whole new world of possibilities was opened up. That we could take charge of our health & plan to be well - rather than wait for symptoms - was now a reality. I was drawn to the idea of helping people realise their inherent healing ability & as a result lead a happier and more fulfilling life.
Luckily there was a chiropractic degree in Sydney. Firstly a Science degree from the University of Sydney, then a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University. Until then I knew, but didn't really understand, that chiropractic was also for people who are currently healthy and wanting to increase their well-being. WOW - I couldn't wait to get out into the real world and start looking after people.
As both a chiropractor and the owner of Back to Living, I see how important it is to help people really get to the bottom of their health concerns. Whether someone sees us initially for aches and pains or asthma, low energy or as part of their wider well-being strategy, being able to integrate the many demands we make upon ourselves is paramount. I'm committed to being part of the solution to the 21st century's health crisis. The first step is coaching those we look after how to stop re-creating their patterns and step off the sickness path. Once we do that, you and your family are on your way to living fully.
With three boys - Nicholas, Joshua and Alex - my husband, Steve and I are kept on our toes. As a family we enjoy getting out & about. Favourites are going to the beach and biking. Daily we see the benefits of a chiropractic lifestyle for kids - with chiropractic as the primary health care utilised by my family.
How does a working mum keep up with all this? From experience I've learnt the hard way how important it is to do as I ask my patients - plan ways to stay well. I receive regular chiropractic care, eat fresh, whole foods, take time out to relax, read and exercise regularly. At the moment I am rather taken with my shiny red road bike and will happily jump at any opportunity to escape on it
So what about you & your health goals? Wouldn’t you like to once again have boundless energy and feel vibrant and healthy?

Wellington Chiropractor Lacey Reedy
Hi!
I am a graduate of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic, where I studied the science, art and philosophy of this amazing health profession. There I was inspired to share my knowledge and passion about Chiropractic to empower educated health choices.
The benefits of regular chiropractic care are limitless! I take great satisfaction in seeing patients function and overall health restored utilising a mix of traditional techniques and up to date technology.
When I am not in the office, you may find me chasing the sun with a good book, at the gym, having tea and scones with friends or travelling along state highway one to visit my family in Levin.
Wellington Chiropractor Gareth Rapson

Originally from South Africa I have now been in New Zealand for the last 10 years. I have a keen interest in sports, which started off for many years with a focus in rugby. This has now evolved to martial arts, surfing, and dancing. I was lead into the chiropractic profession after my father began seeing a chiropractor for low back pain and found that not only was his back pain relieved, but the headaches that he had been suffering from for 20 years had disappeared. With my passion for enhancing sports performance (another benefit of chiropractic) and knowing that I would be able to help people like my father, I decided to begin my chiropractic journey
As a chiropractor, I’m inspired to help people. I have a keen interest in Applied Kinesiology and working with sports teams, the most recent being the 2009 Counties Manukau Netball team who recently achieved a personal best in the 2009 Perry Foundation National Netball Championship.
I feel privileged that I have the opportunity to share all I have learnt with you. Through the Philosophy, Science, and art of chiropractic my goal is to provide you with the opportunity to reach your optimal level of health, well-being and life enjoyment…helping you live the healthy lifestyle you want for a very long time.
